01 4 questions

Team and collaboration

Who we are, how the team is structured and how we work alongside you.

Is UNISON a company?

UNISON is a 10-person software development team. We work together on project-based development, with complementary roles covering planning, applications, systems, AI and deployment.

How is the team structured?

The team includes one project manager, two frontend developers, two backend developers, two mobile developers, one desktop developer, one AI and ML engineer, and one DevOps engineer. The Team page explains their responsibilities.

Who coordinates a project?

The project manager coordinates requirements, scope, priorities, sprint planning and customer communication. Frontend and backend technical leads guide architecture and implementation standards within the engineering work.

Can UNISON work with an existing team?

The project model can include a complete software build or development support within an existing project. Responsibilities, review practices and integration points should be agreed at the start so both teams understand how the work connects.

02 5 questions

Technical capabilities

What we build and how the specialist roles fit together.

What kinds of software can UNISON build?

Our focus covers web and enterprise applications, mobile apps, desktop software, AI features, backend and data systems, and cloud delivery. The Capabilities page explains the engineering behind each area.

What is UNISON's main engineering focus?

Frontend and backend engineering form a substantial part of the team. Together they support complete web products, business workflows, internal tools, APIs and connected data systems. Other specialists extend that work into mobile, desktop, AI and delivery.

How do AI features fit into a project?

AI work is integrated with the application around it. Examples include document extraction, knowledge tools and workflow automation. A project should define suitable data, evaluation criteria, access boundaries and any required human review before choosing the final approach.

Does the team cover both mobile and desktop software?

Yes. Mobile roles cover Android, iOS and cross-platform development. A desktop specialist covers Windows, macOS and Linux applications, local integrations and packaging. The exact platforms and native requirements are defined for the project.

Can software connect to existing systems?

API integration, database work, migration and background services are part of our engineering capabilities. Existing system constraints, available interfaces and data requirements determine the integration approach.

03 5 questions

Delivery

How projects run, how quality is handled and where to see our work.

How does UNISON work on a project?

We use Agile, project-based development. The working sequence is to align requirements, plan the system, build and verify the software, and prepare delivery. Priorities and demonstrations help keep the project connected to its agreed scope.

How are cost and delivery timing determined?

Scope, dependencies, platform needs and acceptance criteria determine the estimate. We agree costs and delivery timing for each project after reviewing those requirements.

How is quality addressed?

Quality responsibilities include code review, relevant automated checks, interface accessibility, performance work and acceptance coordination. Testing depth and security requirements depend on the system being built and should be part of the project scope.

Can the team handle deployment and handover?

DevOps responsibilities include environments, deployment pipelines, monitoring, backups and infrastructure baselines. The release process and handover material are defined for the project, including any ongoing operational responsibilities.

Where can we inspect previous work?

We are preparing selected project case studies for the Projects page. Our Capabilities and Use Cases pages explain the kinds of systems we can build while that material is added.
